Introduction
Blastomussa wellsi is one of the most popular corals among many aquarists. They're not hard to keep and don't require expensive equipment like some corals. They are available in many different colors. Common colors are Maroons, Reds, and Purple with green centers. However occasionally one will find them in other colors like solid blue.

Low to medium. Note one must take time to acclimate this coral to high lights, so orginally place low and then move up with time.

Enjoy supplemental feedings of mysis shrimp and other meaty foods
Propagation
Be careful cutting around the Blastos head and then into rock containing the coral, in order to capture the skeleton, one can achieve capturing a frag. DO NOT JUST CUT IT AS YOU WOULD A POLYP, IT'S LPS!!!!
