The Elegance coral Has a dismal record in captivity. Most specimens last only a matter of weeks befor ethey shrivel and die. The cause of this ailment is still undetermined.

Lighting

The Elegance coral prefers medium-to-strong lighting. As it is recommended that this coral rest on the substrate, more intense lighting is needed to reach the coral effectively in deeper tanks.

Placement

This coral prefers to be placed on the substrate.


Hardiness

Hardy once established. However, few ever become established.


Aggression

Stinging tentacles typical of long-tentacled LPS corals.
