Undulated Trigger = can be very aggressive
Bursa Trigger = semi aggressive
Queen Trigger = sporadic agressiveness
Clown Trigger = individual temperment, agressive dependant on pair bond
Black/Nigger Trigger = mainly peaceful except feed times
Picasso Trigger = king of the jungle, very agressive and protective

Hardiness: (Very hardy fish, desease resistant, in my experience parastic attackes are more of a concern)

Reef-Safe: (Fish only system) But some tiggers are planktores so the can be kept

Available as captive-bred: (have not seen one captive bred)

Physical Description

Diamond body shape, mostly attractive pattens, and displays intelligence. They have undulating motions of the real dorsal and anal fins that make it very manoeuvrable in 360deg dirrections. They have a top dorsal fin that is recessed and ridget that can be extented to lock the body within a crevice or retreat. Very sight orientated species, which makes them interactive with their owners in most cases. They exhale jet streams of water fom their mouths to dislodge or suspend potential prey, which is made light work of with their powerfull teeth filled jaws. In the wild triggers are found to grow extremely large, in excess of 50cm, but in the aquarium enviromnent growth is slow regardless of the amount of food obtained. Territorial by nature, and should be housed with larger fish species if fighting is to be avoided. Introduction to the aquarium as juveniles curves some of the most agressive natures.
