Sump

Introduction

A sump is a container generally made from glass or acrylic.

Water drains from a hole in the back or bottom of the main tank or from an overflow box to the sump, a pump will then return the water back to the main tank.

Sumps come in different shapes/sizes and are generally custom built with various sections to allow for specific needs.

Increase water volume, Improve filtration methods, Add refugium, Hide equipment
